Our sweet journey began

Discover the heart behind Sweetie Kingdom. From childhood memories to a vibrant sweetie heaven, learn what inspires our passion for all things sweet and our commitment to bringing joy to Littlehampton.

Our sweet beginnings

Sweetie Kingdom began with a sprinkle of nostalgia and a whole lot of love. Tanya cherished memories of her Grandad's sweet market stall in Scotland, a true "childs dream." She also fondly recalls hunting for her Grandma's special sweetie tin that was filled especially for her and her brother. James has fond memories of his Nan selling sweets from a caravan at banger races, he felt such enjoyment as he chose his treats. These cherished moments inspired us to create a shop that's bright, colourful, and filled with the same excitement and joy that sweets brought to our childhoods. We want every customer to feel welcome and delighted by the magic a sweet treat brings.

Welcome to Our Family Business

At our family-run business, Tanya and James are dedicated to creating lasting memories for everyone who visits. With four wonderful children of their own, they understand the importance of family values and the joy that comes from shared experiences. Every product and service we offer is crafted with love and care, reflecting our commitment to quality and community. Join us in making unforgettable moments together!

A heart in Littlehampton

Sweetie Kingdom is proud to be a vibrant, bright space in the heart of Littlehampton.  We love creating lasting memories for families and friends, whether it's through our delicious sweets or attending your fun events like fetes, school fairs, and special neurodivergent and sensory friendly timeslots. We wholeheartedly welcome the Littlehampton community and hope you'll recommend us to your friends and family. Come and experience the magic, take a selfie on our very own sweetie kingdom throne, and become part of our story.

Our Commitment to Giving Back

Please look out for our charity events throughout the year!

We will be donating to Turning Tides after facing homelessness ourselves as a family. This experience has opened our eyes to the challenges many individuals and families face when they find themselves without a home. We believe it is essential to support organisations that provide vital services and assistance to those in need.

In addition to our support for Turning Tides, we will also be contributing to the Alzheimer’s Society. This charity plays a crucial role in providing support for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, as well as funding research to improve treatments and care. By supporting these organisations, we hope to make a positive impact on our community and help those who are struggling.
